摘要：Este artigo apresenta uma análise do mercado e das relações de trabalho no Brasil dos anos 2000. A principal hipótese é a de que há movimentos contraditórios. Por um lado, constata-se real melhora de diversos indicadores do mercado de trabalho, em especial quanto à formalização, queda do desemprego e elevação da renda média dos trabalhadores. Por outro, o processo de flexibilização das relações de trabalho persiste nas formas flexiveis de contratação da força de trabalho, como é o caso da terceirização, na remuneração variável e na modulação da jornada. Nesse sentido, discute-se a evolução do mercado de trabalho no período, as tendências da regulamentação pública do trabalho via Estado e via negociação coletiva e o papel de certas instituições públicas nesse cenário.
其他摘要：This paper presents an analysis of the market and labor relations in Brazil in the years 2000’s. The main hypothesis is that there are contradictory movements. On the one hand, there has been real improvement of various labor market indicators, especially regarding the formalization, falling unemployment and increased of the workers real income. On the other hand, the process of liberalization of labor relations persists, as in the case of outsourcing, the variable compensation and the control of labor day length. It is from that perspective that we discuss the evolution of the labor market in that time period as well as the trends of public regulation of labor via state and via collective bargaining and the role of certain public institutions.
