摘要：La restauración, conservación y uso comercial de las especies forestales deben estar soportadas por estudios que indiquen el estado de la diversidad genética de las mismas, en este estudio se evaluó ésta a través de la germinación. Pinus greggii es una especie componente del género Pinus con alto potencial para el establecimiento de plantaciones dada la multiplicidad de ambientes en los que se desarrolla. El objetivo fue evaluar la germinación de cinco procedencias y sus familias a través del Valor Germinativo, Porcentaje de G erminación y Velocidad de Germinación al 75%. L os valores promedios encontrados fueron los siguientes: 1.925 9 para el valor g erminativo, 70.86 % de germinación y 33.74 días para alcanzar el 75% de su germinación. Se concluye que las semillas procedentes de Querétaro presentaron mayor vigor por alcanzar los valores más altos en las variables evaluadas, sobresaliendo San Joaquín.

Pinus greggii is a genus Pinus component with h igh potential for plantation establishment given the multiplicity of environments in which it operates species. The objective was to evaluate the germination of five provenances and their families through the germination value, germination percentage and g ermination rate of 75%. The mean values found were: 1.9259 for germination value, 70.86% germination and 33.74 days to reach 75% of germination. We conclude that the seeds from Queretaro had greater force to achieve the highest values in the variables eval uated , highlighting San Joaquin.
