摘要：El presente trabajo tiene como objetivo identificar el perfil característico del sector hotelero de la región Caribe colombiana y determinar su grado de conocimiento en materia de RSE . Se llevó a cabo una revisión de litera - tura sobre el tema y un estudio empírico con una muestra de 224 hoteles, en donde se aplicaron análisis cuantitativos estadísticos univariables y bivariables. Se concluye que el perfil, configurado a partir de 21 variables, es bastante particular de la zona y que, a pesar de que más de la mitad de los hoteles identifican espontáneamente el concepto de la RSE (notoriedad), lo asocian con los niveles más bajos del mismo (nitidez). Se ha pretendido sensibilizar a los empresarios del sector hacia una mejor comprensión de la RSE para la adecuada implementación de acciones que contribuyan a un turismo más responsable y sostenible en la zona.
其他摘要：The present study aims to identify the characteristic profile of the hotel sector of the Colombian Caribbean region and to determine its degree of knowledge in CSR . A review of scientific literature on the subject and an empirical study with a sample of 224 hotels were conducted, using univa - riate and bivariate statistical quantitative analysis. It is concluded that the profile, configured from 21 variables, is quite particular of the region and, although more than half of the hotels identify spontaneously the concept of CSR (notoriety), they associate it with the lowest levels (sharpness). It has been intended to raise the awareness of entrepreneurs in the sector towards a better understanding of CSR for the adequate implementation of actions that contribute to a more responsible and sustainable tourism in the area.
