摘要:In this section Ana Paula Matei (Coordinator of Technology Interaction and Transfer-Nucleus of Technological Innovation of the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul- UFRGS, Brazil) reviews the book entitled “Production, consumption and supply of food: challenges and new strategies”. It was published in 2016 by the Editor of the UFRGS, as part of the Série Estudos Rurais, under the organization of Fabiana Thomé da Cruz, Alessandra Matte and Sérgio Schneider. It is a collective work of 21 chapters and with almost fifty authors, which –in the words of the reviewer– has as its main objective to encourage reflection on experiences and strategies related to food supply and consumption, capable of directing the debate on sustainable rural development.
