  • 摘要:Ontology is a useful tool for organizing resources and on the other hand is a useful tool for the knowledge representation. With the development of Semantic Web technologies, build and create ontologies to expedite the process, it is necessary. The aim of study is explaining the situation methodology, designing scientometrics conceptual model, and steps of its ontology construction as ScientometricsOnt. The method of study is the applied research. The sample of study is book, article, glossary, thesaurus, dissertation, and research projects of field of scientometrics in Persian language. To collect terms is used internal databases and search in related resource. For create scientometrics conceptual model and explaining relationships and individuals is used domain analysis approach. The realibity and validity scientometrics conceptual model has been approved by experts in the field of scientometrics. The tool for building ontology is Protégé 5 software. The used methodology was Bermejo method (2007) with some change. The results revealed that Ontology of scientometrics was formed in eleven major class which has 20 relationship and 100 individual. This ontology can be very useful tool for the better knowledge representation in this field. Also, Scientometrics ontology could as the basis for extend and development terms and future concept in the field.
