摘要:One of the fundamental properties of a transaction is isolation. When several transactions execute concurrently in the database, however, the isolation property may no longer be preserved. Concurrency control techniques are used to ensure the noninterference or isolation property of concurrently executing transactions. Most of these techniques ensure serializability of schedules. This paper addresses the problem of modifying the Thomas write rule to support Multiversion Timestaming concurrency control technique.
