摘要:In this work we study a model to describe epidemics, the SIR (Susceptible- Infectious- Recovered) model. We improve the SIR model in order to take into account spatial behavior of the infected and susceptible populations by adding a diffusion term to the equations. The SIR epidemic model is considered in bidimensional case. To solve the considered system we use the finite difference approach based on explicit Euler schema. In addition, we present the numerical results.
