摘要：Demand for migration to SharePoint continues to grow as the platform rapidly becomes the standard for organizations looking for a centralized knowledge repository and collaborative work space. However, migrating or consolidating the legacy content into the new SharePoint environment is not a simple task; and there are many things to be considered before any organization dives into a migration. This paper examines why and when to consider an Enterprise Content Management (ECM) legacy system migration to SharePoint, emphasizing the challenges, benefits and technical considerations of a SharePoint migration. The papers also focus on sharing best practices and highlighting the components needed to ensure a flawless migration process.
