摘要:Responding positively to the question formulated in the title of the current paper, the author, on the basis of several examples, insists upon the great interest of general linguistics as a precious descriptive tool allowing the fine-grained analysis of aphasic symptoms within the structural architecture of language and speech. In parallel, he regrets the existence, in many a psycholinguistic and neuropsychological study, of too many superficial conceptual and/or terminological loans coming from general linguistics, which cannot but go against a good comprehension of the disorders under study. Thus, “integrative” pluridisciplinarity, that the author likes to name “neuropsycholinguistics”, has still a long way to go!
