摘要：This article analyzes the significance of fastos to understand the changes in the cultural behaviour patterns of Spanish nobility, by focusing on the case study of the 3rd Dukes of Fernán Núñez. We intend to analyze the link between the aristocratic parties and the new artistic practices generated in the second third of the nineteenth century in Spain, such as the national fine art exhibitions and the progressive use of photography, which provoked new uses and methods of publicity of the nobility image.
