摘要：Multicriteria evaluation techniques with fuzzy methodologyare applied to present models of spatial aptitudefor the development of pre-Hispanic agriculture andcurrent agriculture in south Yocavil Valley (Catamarca,Argentina). The Weighted Linear Combination methodis employed using Geographic Information Systems.It was noted that the area with the greatest potentialfor agriculture mainly coincides with the pre-Hispanicarchaeological record. The historical evolution ofagricultural production from pre-Hispanic times tothe present allows us to postulate that environmentalconditions are not the only or those that most influenceeconomic organization.
