摘要:The present discussion aims to deal with the possibility of having the Afro-Braziliantheme in the classroom, based on a work developed with literary texts, such as O Cortiço, AluísioAzevedo (1884). In this way, we will first use a debate that locates the concept about what AfroBrazilianliterature represents, based on studies starting from Duarte (2011) and Bernd (1987);Followed by the treatment of literary reading in the school through the cultural model of reading,proposed by Gomes (2014).
