摘要：The article has the objective to analyse some expressions of violence experienced by rural women and the experiences related to access to the social protection network in Rio Grande do Sul. The study was exploratory, from a qualitative nature and guided by the dialectical-critical method. The narratives of rural women, leaders and network workers were obtained from semi-structured interviews and analyzed in the light of gender studies. The results point to difficulties of access and / or lack of network services for rural women, as well as social experiences marked by sexual division of labor, patriarchy and machismo.
