摘要:This paper deals with the land issue, whose roots are in the colonial period, problematizing the forms of land misappropriation in Brazil, according to interests of agrarian oligarchies. It is a theoretical essay, from the perspective of dialectical historical materialism, privileging the approach on Brazilian socio-historical formation. In the development, we highlight the discussion about the undue land appropriation and the interests of political and economic domination of the elites; the struggles for land and the contradictions of the state; arguing about the tune or not among the proposals for agrarian reform and maintaining the interests of the dominant elites.
