摘要:Due to the importance of innovation in companies, and especially in the Brazilian Agricultural Research Company - EMBRAPA, this article sought to portray a case study in Embrapa Mandioca and Fruticultura in response to the expectations created about innovation in its strategic planning, in the period of 2008-2014. The article verified how the model of innovation management is structured and organized, as well as the perception of employees regarding the model used. In this context, the work was divided into five chapters: introduction, addressing the purpose of the proposal; A review of the literature, dealing with strategic management and innovation management; The methodology, contextualizing the format of the research; And the results and discussions, where a diagnosis of the current situation of Embrapa Mandioca and Fruticultura regarding innovation was obtained, creating an expectation that this research contributes effectively to the management of the Unit and, consequently, promotes improvements in its planning strategic.
