标题：IMPLICAÇÕES ÉTICAS E LEGAIS DO USO DE ANIMAIS NO ENSINO: AS CONCEPÇÕES DE DISCENTES DOS CURSOS DE GRADUAÇÃO EM CIÊNCIAS BIOLÓGICAS E BIOMEDICINA DE UMA INSTITUIÇÃO FEDERAL DE ENSINO SUPERIOR LOCALIZADA NO ESTADO DO RIO DE JANEIRO – BRASIL
摘要：O uso de animais em situações didáticas é uma das modalidades da Experimentação Animal que foi institucionalizada no âmbito científico do século XVIII, quando se acreditava que animais não possuíam alma ou sentiam dor. Hoje, os novos conhecimentos sobre a fisiologia animal trouxeram implicações éticas para o âmbito científico da experimentação animal, pois revelam que o modelo básico de organização do sistema nervoso humano e dos animais vertebrados é, qualitativamente, o mesmo. Este estudo teve como objetivo investigar as concepções de estudantes dos cursos de Ciências Biológicas e Biomedicina de uma instituição federal de ensino superior localizada no Estado do Rio de Janeiro sobre o uso de animais em situações didático-científicas durante a graduação. Os resultados mostram que a comunidade universitária continua refém do paradigma vivisseccionista quando o uso de animais é recorrente e injustificável e quando professores e alunos desconhecem as implicações éticas e legais do uso de animais em situações didáticas durante a educação científica.
其他摘要：The use of animals in teaching situations is one of the methods of animal experimentation that has been institutionalized in the scientific context of the eighteenth century, when it was believed that animals had no soul or feel pain. Today, new knowledge about the physiology of animals brought to the ethical implications of the scientific experiments on animals, they show that the basic model of organization of the nervous system of humans and vertebrate animals is qualitatively the same. This study aimed to investigate the conceptions of Biological Sciences and Biomedicine students at a federal institution of higher education in the State of Rio de Janeiro on the use of animals in teaching situations during graduation. The results show that the university community remains hostage to the vivisectionist paradigm when the use of animals is recurrent and unjustifiable, and teachers and students are unaware of the ethical and legal implications of the use of animals in teaching situations during science education.
