摘要：This paper presents an observation of the myrmecophilous rove beetle Claviger longicornis (Müller, 1818) in the nest of the uncommon ant Prenolepis nitens (Mayr, 1853). It also represents the first record of an association between rove beetles (Coleoptera, Staphylinidae) and Prenolepis nitens. Some ecological data concerning the host ant species are discussed as well.
