摘要：Localization systems have become a common technology in various fields and a tool to assist with the recreation resource management. Such technologies allow real-time tracking and monitoring of tourists and modeling their movement on Google Map. Furthermore, they provide security and safety for tourists and countries by accurately transmitting series of their movements to a datacenter. This paper introduces a system that can track the tourists in Iraqi marshlands using Global Position System (GPS) and Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) where the movement of tourism in the marshes is monitored by tracking the tourist boats, which are the only means of transport. The proposed system includes two main parts; datacenter and boats of tourists. The datacenter collects data related to the boat location for tourists as well as tourists’ identification data through RFID tags (cards) attached to tourists. The second part of the system is related to the boat where the location of the boat of tourists and their identifications are sent through Arduino, (GPS) shield, RFID reader and Global System Mobile (GSM) shields fixed on the boats. All the locations of boats and RFID tags information are stored in a database at the server of datacenter for more reporting and actions. Different software have been used, such as PhP, MYSQL server and Arduino IDE.
