  • 摘要:In this paper we generate an alternativeformula for sums of Arithmetic and Geometric series byusing Newton’s Divided Difference InterpolatingPolynomial operator. This alternate formula can be usedto find sums of Arithmetic and Geometric series ratherthan using the two formulas of Arithmetic and Geometricseries which is nth term formula and then sum formula.As we all know interpolation is constructing new datapoints within a given range. We have used the pointswhich are in Arithmetic differences and Geometricratios.
