  • 摘要:Compact coplanar waveguide (CPW) fed slotantenna for wide.and (WB) applications of WiFi and WiMAXis presented in this paper. Many WB antennas have .eendeveloped to cover the wide operating .andwidth of thecommunication systems with accepta.le performance.Currently, the prospective applications of WB technology are.ecoming clearer and clearer. The majority of W. R&Dactivities have .een focused on how to meet the specificrequirements of forthcoming WB systems. This paper willreview the R&D of UWB antennas since 2002. Various slits onthe ground plane is done for .andwidth enhancement. CPWfed slot antennas are attractive due to low dispersion and easeof integration with active and passive devices. CPW-fed slotantenna exhi.it perfect impedance matching, .roadsideradiation patterns, and low cross polarization.
