摘要：the basic stages of formation and development of scientific and educational school of the Kyiv Polytechnic Institute on processes and equipment for manufacture and processing of polymers, plastics and rubber mixtures are presented. The contribution of founders of this school (professors Chornobylskii Y. I. (1897–1973) and Lukach Yu. Yu. (1926–2014) to creation of highly effective samples of polymeric mechanical engineering (roll, screw, mixing) and also numerous technological lines on their basis is shown. Services of the scientific school in the field of mathematical modeling such power‐ and the material‐intensive equipment as the equipment for polymer and rubber processing are shown.
