摘要:Cloud computing is an innovative technology thatposes several challenges to all organizations around the world.The primary role of cloud providers is to provide a high qualityof service (QoS) to their customers as long as they do not consumea lot of energy. A lot of researchers have been interested inthis topic and many algorithms have been proposed to managecloud resources to balance QoS and energy cost. The goal is toimprove the QoS of the system, maximize resources utilizationand reduce the overall energy consumption. In this paper, westudy techniques to manage resources utilization by exploitingthe concept of virtual machine migration in a cloud data center(CDC). Two algorithms are presented and studied (Combinationsof Migrations (CM) and High Priority (HP)). The obtainednumerical results demonstrate the effectiveness of the propositionin terms of makespan and energy efficiency while ensuringthe quality of service.
