摘要:The microstructure, mechanical properties and tribological behaviour of Cr3C2( Chromium carbide) -PS.ZrO2 (Partially stabilized Zirconia) composite coatings prepared with atmospheric plasma spraying and highvelocity oxyfuel spraying (HVOF) technologies were systematically investigated. X-ray diffraction and transmissionelectron microscopy analyses showed that the three kinds of Cr3C2-PS.ZrO2 coatings were mainly consistent with thedesigned feedstock powders. The three kinds of Cr3C2-PS.ZrO2 coatings have similar and high microhardness. TheHVOF Cr3C2-PS.ZrO2 coatings have lower porosity and higher adhesive strength in comparison to the plasma sprayedCr3C2-PS.ZrO2 coating. The friction coefficients of the HVOF were lower than that of the plasma sprayed coating, andthe HVOF coatings displayed better wear resistance. The lower coefficients friction and rate wear of the three coatingsat elevated temperatures were attributed to the formation of a compact PS.ZrO2eutectic lubricating layer on the wornsurface.
