摘要:Digital Images are the key sources of information in scientific research and Engineering applications.Due to many reasons the digital images are often contaminated by various types of noises during their capture bysensors and transmission from one point to another point. Some of the reasons are internal element imperfections of theimage capturing sensors and poor illumination conditions. Due to these corruptions images will often become a nullinformation conveying objects. It is essential to denoise the image before carrying out any high level processingoperation on it. The underlying goal of any image processing algorithm is to remove the noise from an image withoutdisturbing its quality. To achieve this goal in this project we proposed a novel two stage correlative approach fordenoising the digital images efficiently. The proposed approach implements a correlative based denoising approach inboth internal and external context. The proposed approach is coded, implemented and simulated in the Matlabenvironment and the simulation results adjudged that the proposed approach is best in all aspects and outperforms allthe existing approaches.
