摘要：Naturally occurring algal samples were collected from the Baathilake in Davangere. Algae were tested inthe microbes testing lab as green algae Pithophora, oil was extracted from dried algal samples and theirphysicochemical properties such as FFA, density, flash point, fire point, viscosity test were analysed. It concluded thatalgae can be used as source for the alternative fuel as diesel for the production of biodiesel.
