摘要:This paper contains CFD analysis in the power development with the help of Savonius wind Turbine. Asthe express highway network is spreading all over country, on which heavy vehicles are running with high andcontrolled speed. So draft generated by the vehicles can be used to run wind turbine. This innovative method cangenerate clean energy from the wind turbine. As the availability of the wind from the vehicles will depends on trafficand atmospheric condition. Wind turbine will not solely depend on atmospheric wind; it can make use of HLV andnatural wind energy resource. With positive move in this field of wind power generation, a unique power station isplanned. Which will supply power to the near area and express highway. The analysis is done by using the Savoniusrotor with two & three scoop of the rotor considering inlet guide vanes and the results are compared between with andwithout guide vane using CFD.
