摘要：Cloud computing is the next big future in computing. Cloud computing is not only related to GridComputing but also to Utility computing as well as Cluster computing. The huge amount of data brings manychallenges on the management, transportation and processing IT infrastructures. However, how to build a good datacentre remains an open challenge. Concurrently, the architecture design, which significantly affects the totalperformance. This paper surveys advances in data centre Architectures and some popular design principles for today’sdata centre network architectures. Data centres are preassembled in a factory are often described with terms likeprefabricated, containerized, modularized, mobile, portable, self-contained houses contains huge amount of all thetypes of resources required for computing environment and more. Shipping-container-based data centres have beenintroduced as building blocks for constructing mega-data centres.
