  • 摘要:Endothelial cell is a key component of blood vessels and related structures. Retinal endothelial cells linethat forms the arborizing microvasculature structure across vital organs supplies and drains the neural retina. Theanatomical and physiological characteristics of these endothelial cells are committed to task related to nutritionalrequirements and protection of a tissue critical to vision. The retinal endothelial cell is a key player in retinal ischemicvasculopathies that include diabetic retinopathy and retinopathy of prematurity and retinal inflammation as occurs inposterior uveitis. Neovascularization is the key process that causes vasculopatheis and characterizing a molecule whichhelp in neovascularization may be helpful in sorting of the problem.Using gene expression and transcriptom analysis, ithas been possible to explore the molecular phenotype of the human retinal endothelial cell and provide a way forunderstanding of the pathogenesis of Type II Diabetic Retinopathy. In addition to providing assistance for theinvolvement of well-characterized endothelial molecules, profiling has the power to identify new participant in retinalpathologies.
