  • 摘要:With the emergent industrial development and dependence on fossil fuels, Green House Gas (GHG)emission has become most important problem. However, car manufacturers have to remain in competition with peersand design their products innovatively that fulfil the new regulations too. Nevertheless of various different approachesto improve fuel economy such as enhancing fuel quality, development of high performance engines and fuel injectionsystem, weight reduction is one of the encouraging approaches. With 10% weight reduction in passenger cars, the fueleconomy improves by as much as 6–8%.
