摘要：In this paper we introduce the concept of family of disjoint sets as a concept in set theory and introducesome theorems related to this concept, we also provide examples and applications.The four colours problem is aproblem in graph theory, in this paper we introduce four colours problem as an application offamily of disjoint sets.Families of disjoint sets explain four colours problem as an example ofm colours problem. Using families of disjointsets we can explain any familiar map or unfamiliar map with any number of colours used to draw these maps.
