摘要：We report on the evolution of e-Infrastructures that designate a new generation of integrated informationand communication technologies and services and is considered as a key factor in the development of science andeducation. The emphasis made on the analysis of the approaches and solutions developed within the RENAM e-Infrastructureto support the improvement of scientific and educational activities in universities and research institutionsof the Republic of Moldova. These approaches focus on developing of the core aspects of regional and internationalconnectivity such as providing access to GEANT Trans-European research and education infrastructure, regional and Europeandistributed computer infrastructures. Described cross-border fiber optic infrastructure creation for connectingthe Eastern Europe to the West, quality of services provided, promoting the services offered by research networks takingin account support and expanding research and educational collaboration in Europe. There will be discussed resultsof the regional projects supported by the European Commission in the field of e-infrastructures and modern servicesimplementation.
