摘要：At the beginning of this millennium, bioarchaeology andenvironmental archaeology in the Czech Republic wentthrough a period of dynamic development. Archaeobotanists,zooarchaeologists, anthropologists and geoarchaeologistsactive at this time worked at various departments of biology,life sciences, or geology, and rarely they were rarelyemployed by archaeological institutions. The possibilitiesof sharing their results with other archaeologists wererather restricted. Their work was often considered as just asupplementary service to the archaeology.
