摘要:One problem which has remained deeply rooted in multiview geometry is the reconstruction of a scene starting with multiple two-dimensional representation of different parts of the same scene. This is usually formulated as a non-linear problem which has to be solved using an iterative optimization process starting from a sub-optimal solution obtained by using linear methods. In this paper, the main focus is to start from first principle and determine the optimization technique which can minimize repropjection error during metric reconstruction of a three-dimensional scene from multiple image samples.
