摘要：To prolong the network lifetime in wirelessadhoc sensor networks the energy consumption isconsidered as the prominent feature. In this paper, amulti - gateway - based approach is used to optimizethe routing between the cluster nodes and base station,to balance the energy consumption and to acheivebetter network limetime. Optimal routing scheme hasbeen designed for the sensors to transmit the datadirectly with the base station being in their own regions.Our proposed protocol have been compared with thestandard protocols such as LEACH and GSEP. Whencompared with other protocols this protocol is better inacheiving residual energy, balanced energyconsumption, throughput and network lifetime. Thisprotocol also provides a good topological arrangementof nodes for transmission of data.
