  • 摘要:Purpose – Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises sector has developed as an extremely vivaciousand dynamic segment of the Indian Economy concerning Rural Development. small medium sizeenterprises (SMEs) not only perform vital role in providing great employment opportunities atrelatively minor capital price than huge businesses but also support in deindustrialization of Indianrural and backwards areas, thus, decreasing regional differences, promising additional unbiasedsupply of national income and capital. SMEs are complementary to huge businesses as additional unitsand this area underwrite extremely to the socio-economic growth of the country.From last decades, small entrepreneurs have emerged as leaders in industrial sectors. There areseveral factors, which normally influence the growth and operation of entrepreneurship such as socialenvironmental factors such as, family background, caste and religion, social mobility and marginalitydetermines entrepreneurial behavior.The researchers try to find out whether there is a relation between educational and occupationalon entrepreneurial skill development, as well as to observe responsible factors which influenceentrepreneurship development.Design/methodology/approach – This research employed small medium entrepreneurshipactivities for development of rural areas of India, the researchers chooses Maharashtra state asresearch area. The study is empirical and explanatory basically based on primary data collectedsurvey moreover secondary data which is collected from various published sources such, journals,books, and various other publications, the sample entrepreneurs 178 were selected from four blocks.The sample founded 66% men respondents and 34% woman respondents having diverse socioeconomicconditions. Samples were selected on Simple Random sampling basis. Researcher usequestionnaire and personnel interview as data collection tool and the data collected was subjected toquantitative analysis.Research limitations/implications – The accuracy of the analysis is dependent on theaccuracy of the responses given by the respondents.Practical implications – The significance of this study lies in addressing the influence of smallmedium size enterprises on rural development in IndiaOriginality/Value – This study is a modest attempt to evolve a research paradigm in India forrural development practices which would be able to establish the profile of rural entrepreneurs,identifying the influence behind their entrepreneurial career, required entrepreneurial skills,education and Occupational background for development of rural areas through entrepreneurshipwith Indian perspective.
