摘要：The rapid explosion ofcollection of an imagesover the Internet and the evolution of multimediatechnology have been attracted significant research efforts. Also in generating tools for effective retrieval of visualdata. Some difficulties faced by traditional text-based image retrieval brought the researchers to discover new solutionslike CBIR to index visual information. CBIR uses thefeatures and the contents of an image like color,edge, texture, etc.to represent and index the image. The quality of response is highly dependent on the two things, like choice of themethod used to generate feature vectors as well as the similarity measurement for comparison of features. All researchefforts are being made to evaluate the performance and accuracy of image retrieval systems my making changes toexisting LTrP system.
