摘要：Recommender systems are information search and decision support tools used when there is anawesome set of option to judge or when the user lacks the domain-specific knowledge essential to take autonomousdecisions. They provide users with personalized recommendations adapted to their needs and preferences in a particularusage context. Recommender systems are useful not only when users are overwhelmed by a large number of options toconsider but also when they do not have adequate domain specific knowledge to take their decision. Different types ofrecommender systems and algorithms target on helping tourists from different perspectives. However,tourists needsystem maintain throughout stages of travel, beginning from pretravel planning through to the final stages of travel.Topic models are usually based upon the idea that documents (including messages, emails, etc.) are mixtures of latenttopics, where a topic is a probability distribution over words. Topic models (especially LDA)-based methods performwell in the text-related or other recommendation tasks.
