摘要：With the increase in development of science and technology, there is a need for every individual to beupdated with the latest innovations. In the present scenario, several softwares came into existence which are totallycontrolled by our body gestures. Gesture recognition mainly focuses at identifying and recognizing gestures that areemanating from our body especially from hand. In other words, gesture recognition allows humans to interact directlywith the machines without any mechanical devices. At present controlling electronic devices by means of hand gesturesis gaining more importance. Hand gesture recognition aims on the image processing algorithm and corresponding userinterface. Hand gesture recognition provides a possible solution to control electronic and electrical appliancesespecially for physically impaired people.
