摘要：Authentication plays an important role in protecting data against unauthorized access. Authentication ofimage is very different from standard data authentication. Image authentication has several applications in variousfields like medical, surveillance, military. A wide variety of techniques have been used for image authentication whichare basically divided into Hash based and Watermark based. This paper presents a survey on various imageauthentication techniques. We also give a comparison study of various image authentication techniques and thealgorithms used in those techniques.
