摘要：Software risks are generally the financial or resource losses, the occurrence of potential problem thatmay occur in any phase of the software development in an organisation. Software risks can be viewed as a collection ofperformance efficiency, robustness, transactional risks and security occurring in a system. These may be caused due tolack of information at a specific level of development or lack of time and control which results in a catastrophic failureof the project. In this review paper, some of the software risk management methods have been discussed which havebeen successful in their work for reducing the risks associated with the software projects. Software risk managementstill is not being used by many of the firms because of the lack of research in that field. It is a prior requirement intoday’s generation of technology oriented world to create software faster, efficiently and with enough features asrequired by the people.
