摘要：In terms of scientific paradigm, we have witnessedthe transition from a multidisciplinary perspective, inwhich the contributions of the different disciplines arejuxtaposed, to an interdisciplinary approach, in whichthe specificities of the different specialists contribute tobuild integrated research and care models [1].An example of this transition has taken place in CasaleMonferrato, a National Priority Contaminated Site(NPCS) that has drawn the scientific and therapeuticattention of several specialists because it represents apeculiar reality concerning the incidence of mesothelioma[2, 3].
