摘要:In this research, the effect of water salinity on geotechnical properties of fine grained soilcollected fromSultanpur & Ambedkar Nagar was studied. In the Laboratory, Several tests such as Atterberg limit test were donewithdistilled water and water of different concentration of Nacl. Results on soil show that both liquid limit and plasticlimit decreases with increase in salinity. Increase in salinity increases optimum moisture content and decreasesmaximum dry density.
