摘要:Five different Indian wheat cultivars obtained from different locations were evaluated for the grainquality traits and whole wheat characteristics. The physico-chemical data showed that the cultivars studied were quitedivers in terms of wheat quality characteristics. The wheat quality parameters i.e. grain dimensions, thousand kernelweight and grain hardness showed significant differences among the cultivars studied. The diameter of grain was foundto have a strong positive relationship with the Hectoliter weight (r=0.786). The damaged starch content of whole wheatflour also depicted a highly positive (r=0.938) correlation with the Grain hardness. Wide diversity was exhibited bywheat variety HD2932 in protein content as well as quality.
