  • 摘要:Activated carbon was prepared from Typha AngustataL. It was characterized by XRD, SEM and IR .TheEffect of various parameters such as PH, adsorbent dosage, contact time, Initial concentration and temperature wasstudied. Based on linear regression analysis, The data obtained from the batch studies showed a good compliance withthe Langmuir, Freundlich, Tempkin and D-R models. The studies showed that the activated carbon can be used as agood adsorbent for the removal of hexavalent chromium from aqueous solution.
