摘要:VANET is the technology for building a strong Ad-Hoc network between mobile vehicles and betweenmobile vehicles and fixed roadside units. This type of network should be carefully checked before distribution in thereal word because it involves a lot of risks. The testing should be executed using computer simulations.in this paper theDSR routing protocol performance will be enhanced according to the two parameters (number of collision and senddown packet) by combining two separate simulators SUMO as traffic simulator to simulate the traffic motion &OMNET++ as a network simulator. the improved protocol called ENC-DSR routing protocol which the enhancementhas been made to NPRR-DSR (NonPropRouterRequest-DSR) and TCS-DSR (TableCachedSize-DSR) parameters. thisenhanced protocol has improved the performance of the DSR routing protocol in these parameters. The collectedresults show that ENC-DSR reduces the number of collisions and sent down packet depending on the variation of thespeed and number of vehicle and MAC protocol.
