摘要:The topic has been selected for the present study to determine suitability of marble powder (MP) in civilengineering. This will help in achieving economy in construction work as well as saving on environment degradation interm of reduced mining and less pollution. Construction and maintenance of buildings and roads involve millions oftonnes of aggregate, sand and cement. Considering the scarcity of fresh aggregate, sand and cement, in present studywe replace cement with marble powder. Construction of the rigid road and heavy structure like dams is quite costintensive. It is suggested to use marble powder in place of cement in construction of road, buildings and dams provideeconomy to the project. For making best use of by products, it is essential to study the suitability of these wastematerials in various construction works.
