摘要：The use of telemedicine is increasing, and in a developing country such as India, where there is hugeinequality in health-care distribution, Telemedicine has the potential to bridge this inequality and to facilitate access tohealthcare in the remote and underprivileged population if absorbed into existing healthcare delivery system. But itsefficacy for getting significant or improved clinical outcomes has not been confirmed in many medical specialties. Theaim of this systematic review is to evaluate the efficacy of interventions of telemedicine for health outcomes. Thisreview gives an overview of telemedicine in different healthcare areas including radiology, obstetrics, psychiatry,telemedicine in surgery, telepathology etc.
