摘要：Benzothiazole derivatives are known to have wide spectrum of therapeutic activities such as antitumoractivity, antimicrobial activity, anti-inflammatory activity, anthelmintic activity, anticonvulsant activity,antileishmanial activity. Benzothiazoles consist of a 5-membered 1,3-thiazol ring fused to a benzene ring. The nineatoms of the bicycle and the attached substituents are coplanar. Heterocyclic compounds containing nitrogen and sulfursuch as benzothiazole has received considerable attention in recent years due to their biological and pharmaceuticalactivities. The benzothiazole ring system has phenyl ring fused with thiazole ring. This ring is a potential component innonlinear optics (NLO). The compound is used also used as an insecticide and food flavoring agent.
