摘要：After a rigorous study of Physico-chemical properties of Sewage water and Ganga Water were found outthere was much difference in the chemical composition of Ganga water and sewage water. Sewage water have higherpercentage of heavy metals and other organic and inorganic matter. Temperature of Ganga water was found to berelatively lower as compared to the sewage water. However, Hydrogen ion concentration of Ganga water canal wasfound to be higher, Biologically Oxygen demand of sewage water showed variation from 94.00 to 194.00 mg/lit duringthe investigation period. Similarly value of Cu, Zn, Fe and Mn was found to be relatively higher as compared to that ofGanga water.
