摘要:The present work is to investigate the effects of End milling process parameters on material removal rate(MRR), surface roughness (SR) and temperature (TEMP) in End milling on glass fibre reinforced plastic (GFRP) sheetusing Taguchi methodology. Three input parameters were chosen namely: cutting speed, feed rate and depth of cut. Theobjective of the study was to maximize the MRR, minimize the SR and TEMP. Experimental work has been carried outas per L16 orthogonal array using Taguchi design of experiments. Signal to noise ratio (S/N ratio) and analysis ofvariance (ANOVA) were used to determine the influence of input parameters on the MRR, SR and TEMP.
